Hello ICI Family,

Christmas is coming and the Acqua Alta too.

Today, the weather forecasters are waiting a peak at 1m50 for 9.40 AM. Once more, the Magazzino del caffè is impacted by this phenomenon.

Being prepared for the future ... 140 cm versus 187 cm ready for 240 cm !

ICI VENICE was back in the place another week end.

This second weekend after the week, the team of ICI VENICE came back to the Magazzino del caffè to begin the first cleaning of the exhibition site, following various acqua alta.

To avoid some other damages by futures Acqua Alta, the team created this safe area.

Everything will be at 55cm. With the flood of 187 cm over the sea level, inside there was 42 cm.

Everything was safe for 140cm over the sea level !

Not 187 cm !

Taking advantage of a better weather, the shelter of the materials and tools of the association continued today.

However, the reconditioning of the site is important because of the extent of the damage caused by the water. That's why we call on your generosity by participating in our solidarity fund "Aqua alta: ICI VENICE needs you! ».

Back in the place after the Acqua Alta of the 12th of november 2019

The weekend after the last acqua alta, the team of ICI VENICE came back to the Magazzino del caffè to begin the first cleaning of the exhibition site, following the various acqua alta.

Taking advantage of a better weather, the shelter of the materials and tools of the association continued during the free time of the team as we are all volonters.

However, the reconditioning of the site is important because of the extent of the damage caused by the water.
